Annually, Monmouth Museum invites M.E.G.S. 
to decorate their own Holiday Tree. 

Make decorations!!! Anything you like as long as it represents Italy.

Important dates:

Q: What should the decoration look like?
A: Have the girls come up with ideas…it can be a food theme, special place in Italy, famous people, buildings, boats…
Notify Kati if you would like to make the Gondola for the tree topper!

Q: Does each girl in the troop make the same decoration?
A: They can, but it looks wonderful if each girl makes something different in the same theme from your troop

Q: What should the decorations be made of?
A: Last year some girls used decoupage on ornament balls, used Crayola air dry clay, made fairies out of flowers, string and wooden thread bobbins…let the girls' imaginations soar!

Q: How many decorations do we need?
A: One per girl…there were over a hundred decorations last year and the tree looked great! All decorations made will be placed on the tree… some troops had the girls make 2 - one for the tree and one for their home or to give to someone special.

Girls may collect items from family and friends under adult supervision.
